A few of us are heading up to the lakes on Saturday 24/3/07 to run the race route of the anniversary waltz, about 11 miles I think and 3500ft of climbing, will be a nice slow jog round and a change of scenery for our Saturday runs, so if anyone else fancies joining us, we'll sort out a meeting place, probably setting off at 8am Very Happy

There were five of us at the last saturday run, it made it a good and sociable run, hope to see a few more Saturday Very Happy

Not terribly useful tactic for doing a reccie though as we will need to find the route ourselves.
Anyways sounds like map sorted so panic over, anyone else out there going to join us ??

Saz, there is a race setting off at Stair Village Hall on Saturday too, but it is going in a different direction (Causey Pike) and doesn't set off until 2 so we shouldn't find ourselves in the middle of it if we set off from darwen for 8. They should be still around when we get down though unless we (that being me) are really slow !

Gaz, I wouldn't bother finding out the route either, I would rely on someone else leading the way (that's what other people are for). If I took a map I would still get lost.
