That sounds a bit like hard work, are you planning on doing the BG?
How long did it take you to do the 16 miles?

Im toying with the Idea Linda, Im gonna get up to the lakes as much as possible in 2007, and perhaps get involded in a few on the FRA forum. Then see how my fitness is around April/May. If its better I may go for it.
I have been told the type of training is just long days out on the fells walking and jogging.
Quite exciting really.

Hiya colin
You can have teams of people running with you on each leg to assist with the navigating and carrying your stuff & people waiting in certain spots with food, drink and dry kit. There's some good books available about people who have completed it and various blogs you can read on the FRA forum.

Colin, You are welcome anytime to come along training with me. On the night I would not run it together. It can get hard work due to people running at different speeds and it can get hard work for pacers and helpers.
Ill let you know on my next visit to the lakes, Im just getting familiar with the route.
There are plenty of Dashers who can help us, and I know a few others. The pace is very easy going so anyone is welcome to come along on training runs.
Im not nailing my hat on and saying Im doing it, Im jsut getting familiar this year.
