Welcome To Darwen Dashers Website

This sites purpose is to provide somewhere for local runners to arrange training runs, organise events & share pictures, but most of all to have some fun! If you need any help using the website please read the FAQ If you'd like to join Darwen Dashers Running Club just fill out the membership application form, enter your details & send to the address on the form. You can suggest changes to the website via admin e-mail Please respect the rights of other users by not posting abusive material.

We meet at 7pm on Tuesday & Thursday, The Sunnyhurst Pub, Tockholes Rd, Darwen, Lancashire, BB3 1JX.

	PM Spamming Someone joined the forum yesterday then started sending all the members PM's. I've deleted their account and banned the I.P. address and email address etc. It's not a virus just a private message that was sent from someone who joined the site to spam the members. Hopefully they wont be back, please don't email me telling me about it as it's been sorted out and any emails just slow the process down. (Read more)

	I have just received final instructions for relays , i have chosen teams for sunday 18 th oct , vets team ,Mark France , Simon Fox, Mark Walsh ,Juilan ,Jonathan,,Derek Ashcroft . A team ,Lee Shorrock , Gary ,Linda,Kevin ,Kath ,Dave Shorrock. B team ,Sarah , Janine ,Joanne, Pete ,Karen ,Jim . Magical Mystery Walk - this Friday 9th October!!

	New format, new destination, same end result! You are cordially invited to a walk taking place on Friday 9th October. Meet at the Sunnyhurst at 7.00pm for a 7.30pm (ish) depart. There will then be an on/off road walk of approx 30 minutes to a local hostelry in Darwen. The plan is to then sample of few scoops of their choicest ales and engage in convivial conversation with your companions. People are then free to head home or to venture into the nearby fleshpots of downtown Darwen. Please join us on what promises to be a sociable jaunt to the pub with no moorland trekking involved.
